HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE

Ideally fingers should be sized properly by a professional jeweller using a ring sizer. Any jeweller will measure your finger if you ask.

However the following instructions may be used to estimate your size. This will give an approximate guide to ring sizes, for a completely accurate measurement go to a jeweller to have your finger sized precisely.

STEPS -

  • Use a measuring tape or a string/paper no wider than 1cm.

  • Wrap it around the finger where you want to put the ring.

  • Mark the length with a pen where the string/paper ends in the circle.

  • Use a ruler to measure the string/paper and determine your ring size in mm.

  • Use the Kara Stone sizing chart to determine your approx. AUS ring size.

    * Note this is for a guide only.

Tips to making the ring size more accurate:

  • After sliding the ring sizer on, make sure it slides off fairly easily over the knuckle.

  • Measure your fingers at the end of the day when they’re at their largest. Cold weather can shrink your fingers up to half a size, so make sure they’re warm!
